Valentine’s Day Series: Fun & Flirty

IMG_3776

Hey loves, I’m back with another look for Valentine’s Day! This look is perfect for day time glam or a Valentine’s Day spent with the girls! Since I thought the look would be good for the day time, I tried to keep it simple. This was very quick to do so lets get started 🙂

First I filled in my brows with MAC’s Spiked brow pencil. I then applied Make Up Forever HD Foundation in 177 with my Sedona Lace flat top foundation brush. When I use a brush to apply foundation I always spray my brush with a little Fix+ which makes the foundation easier to blend. I highlighted with L.A. Girl HD Concealer in Warm Honey and blended this out with a damp Beauty Blender and set with Ben Nye Powder in Topaz. I set the rest of my face, and then contoured with Black Radiance Pressed Powder in Rich Mahogany. If your contouring with powder only, setting your foundation first then contouring allows for a smoother contour. If I contour with powder right on top of my foundation it tends to come out patchy.

Next I moved to the eyes. I wanted to keep it simple so I only used two eye-shadows. After apply my primer I used Champagne from the Lorac Pro Pallet on the lid. I added NYX Dance the Tides in my crease. The brown was a little to deep so I took my face powder and blended that color out. Using your face powder to defuse color is a great technique. I lined my eyes with NYX liquid liner and added L’oreal Telescopic mascara which might be my favorite drug store mascara!

For blush I used elf blush pallet in dark (top right). For highlighting I used MAC’s Global Glow only on the cheeks and tip of nose. NYX Deep Purple for lip liner and Colour Pop Corset for lipstick. Once I added the lip I felt the eyes where too neutral, so I went back into my crease with a pink color from the bhCosmetics 88 Matte Pallet.

This completes the look! I like this look because it was super quick! If your not a fan of the glittery lid, I think a neutral matte lid and the dark pink crease would look great! I have once more look for the Valentine’s Day Series so make sure to look out for it! Thanks for reading xoxo
