Hi Loves!!! Today I wanted to talk about my new skin care routine. As you may know from my previous post about Skin Care during college my skin was HORRIBLE!! After college I took my skin care very serious and got my skin all the way together. However recently my skin has started to have some issues. I am starting to get monthly break outs (Thanks Aunt Flo) which are usually one pimple. I can deal with that but the hyper pigmentation it leaves behind is no fun. So I decided to switch up some of my products to see if I can get my skin back on track. This post will just show my new routine. I just started using these products so once I get a feel for them I will come back and let you know how I like them!
Day Time Routine
For the day I want to keep things light. I have oily skin normally but during this recent winter my skin has been a bit dry in places. Most of the products in my day routine are the same. My cleanser, spot treatment, and dark spot corrector are all the same. The new items are the Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel which I will use as a toner and the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel. The water gel surprisingly does not make me oily and it absorbs in the skin quickly.
Night Time Routine
For my night routine I wanted to get a deeper clean to get all the oil, and makeup off that may have built up during the day. For cleanser I decided to try the Jason Apricot Scrubble. This is a scrub that is safe to use daily and it’s also a brightening cleanser. For toner I grabbed the Pixi Glow Tonic. I have heard many things about this toner and decided to give it a try. For moisturizer I got the Jason C effects Creme. This will help firm and tone the skin. If I have any breakouts I will use the spot treatment and evey night I will also use the dark spot corrector.
