Hi Loves I hope everyone is getting in the Holiday Spirit! This is one of my favorite times of the year because I LOVE the Holidays!! Spending time with my family is by far the highlight of the Holidays for me because I live about three hours away from them. But let’s get into this post which is about concealer! Concealer is one of my favorite makeup items. Specifically concealer to highlight, I think it truly does take a makeup look to the next level. For about two years now NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer was my Ride or Die!!!! This was the only high end concealer I used to highlight. About two months ago I decided to step out the box and try something new, the Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Creme. I must admit I’m SO happy I tried it!

It’s day three loves and today’s look we’re using the Too Faced The Power of Makeup Pallet by NikkieTutorials! I was pretty excited to get my hands on this because I did not own many Too Faced products and we can all agree, Nikkie’s makeup is ALWAYS on point so I knew the pallet would be bomb! The pallet comes with nine eyeshadows, two blushes, one contour color and one highlight. The pallet also came with an eyeshadow primer, loose glitter, a mini mascara and a full liquid eyeliner all for $56! Keep reading to get the details on this look.

palletjpg

Hello Loves!!!!! I’m baaaaack!!! So excited to get back to posting on the blog!! I have missed you guys a ton and I have been dying to play in makeup. Work has finally slowed down (thank the baby) but I’m still on the road. Traveling however, has not stopped me from buying makeup lol.  So to jump back into things I wanted to start with 5 different makeup looks using 5 different eye shadow pallets! Since I am still on the road I don’t have a full set up so……I will only be showing the finished look 😦 But I will be sure to list EVERYTHING I used to achieve each look. First up, Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance eye shadow pallet.

Nude Lippies

DSCN0743

Every girl needs a good nude lipstick! They are perfect to wear for your “everyday” look and when you have a bold eye and need a nice toned down lip! However…being a WOC,  wearing a nude lip can be tricky. If not done correctly your lips can come off looking ashy (Tyrone Biggums anyone?) or the nude washes you out and makes you look sick. So I will show you some of my favorite nudes.

High End

Creme

MAC’s Creme In Your Coffee: I picked this color up because Kendra of GlamTwinz334(Youtube) raved about it.  MAC describes this color as a creamy mid-tone pink brown.  I usually wear this to work because I don’t have to line it, and I just throw it on. It is a cremesheen so its very moisturizing and creamy (go figure).

Velvel

MAC’s Velvet Teddy: MAC describes this color as a deep-tone beige. This color is matte, although I always top it with a gloss. To make it work for me I wear it with MAC’s Cork lip liner and top with NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Natural.
